ATTENTION: ENTRANCE LOAN COUNSELING IS REQUIRED FOR NEW BORROWERS
If you have not previously borrowed under the Federal Direct Student Loan Program at Northeast Iowa Community College, you are required to do Entrance Loan Counseling online. The address is: http://www.ed.gov/offices/OSFAP/DirectLoan.
Follow the links to the Online Entrance Counseling for Borrowers. After you have passed the quiz, click on PROCEED. Enter your student information and click on CONTINUE. The system will then display your Borrower's Rights and Responsibilities. Click on SAVE AND ACKNOWLEDGE. You will need to select our college to finish your Entrance Counseling Session. Click on PROCEED and then click on SHOW FORM FOR PRINTING. Print that screen and mail it to the Financial Aid Office along with the completed Master Promissory Note and Direct Loan Offer form.
