NICC Xpress FAQ 

  1. What is my Log in ID and Password to login to NICC Xpress?
    Typically your login will be your full last name and first initial. For duplicates a number is appended to this login. Your password is the last six digits of your ss#. You are notified of your login id and password via letter after you apply for admission to the college.
  2. How do I change my password?
    When logging into NICC Xpress the first time you will be prompted to change your password. If you wish to change your password after this initial time you would click on Profile under the Personal Tools… menu from the My Xpress page. Click on Change Password. Follow the onscreen directions.
  3. Do I have to change my password?
    Yes, you have to change your password the first time you log in.
  4. Do I have to create a password hint question?
    Yes, you have to create a password hint question. This allows you to login if you forget your password and once logged in you can change your password.
  5. How do I find my class schedule?
    Once you are logged into NICC Xpress you can click on the WebTrax for Students tab. Under the Academic Profile menu click on My Class Schedule. Choose a term and click on submit. You should see a list of your current classes. You should also see a list of your classes on the MyXpress page under My Classes.
  6. What do I do if my classes showing are incorrect?
    Contact the registrar’s office.
  7. What is my email address?
    Your email address is Log in ID@portal.nicc.edu
  8. How do I find my grades?
    If your instructor is posting grades in NICC Xpress for the classes you are taking (not all instructors use the Xpress grading system) then the grades will be found by clicking on your class. From the Student Tools menu click on My Grades. In order to see final grades, click on the WebTrax for Students tab. Under the Academic Profile menu click on My Grades. You will see all terms you have been enrolled at NICC. Choose the term you would like to view and click on submit.
  9. Can I customize the MyXpress page? Yes, customization of the MyXpress page is done by clicking on the Choose Layout and Add Channel buttons to choose the channel drag its name and position it on your dashboard.
  10. I see an event on the NICC Xpress campus calendar but I don’t see the details?
    In order to see the details of an event on the campus calendar, click on the event and an event window will open listing details for that event.
  11. Who do I contact when I have NICC Xpress questions?
    Use the Feedback button in the upper right hand corner of the NICC Xpress site.
