If you will be a new AA student this fall, you should consider one of NICC's Learning Communities.
What is a learning community?
It is a group of students who start the program at the same tine and take some of their core courses together. They study with one another and also participate in out-of-class learning and social activities. This community of students are awarded fun opportunities to connect with faculty and staff.
How does it work?
Faculty collaborate to plan your assignments so you don’t get overwhelmed! Instead of writing a paper for English and another paper for history, you can combine your efforts and write just one paper for both classes.
