- You must be a first year or transfer college student pursuing an AA degree.
- You must desire a smooth transition to NICC.
- You desire support and tips for academic success.
- You want to use your investigative skills to solve problems like test-taking, studying effectively, managing multi-tasks, etc.

An advisor can assist you in determining which of our two learning communities you qualify for.

*classes are conveniently scheduled to meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Students will take three courses together each semester. Other courses that will be scheduled for the two-year AA Learning Communities include:
- Intro to Psychology
- Art History I
- Art Appreciation
- Intro to Ethics
- Intro to Literature
- Composition II
- World Civilization II
- Environmental Science
An advisor will assist students in selecting your remaining courses each semester.
