Adult Basic Education

Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes are vocationally based and designed for students with learning challenges or disabilities who want to build on their current skills.

Northeast Iowa Community College offers a variety of ABE programming, including:

  • Basic Skills (Arithmetic, Basic Algebra, Working with Money, Budgeting)
  • Writing
  • Reading Comprehension
  • Job and Life Skills

  • Dubuque Center – 700 Main St.
    Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

  • Waukon – 1220 3rd Ave. N.W., Ste. 102
    Thursdays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
