ATV and UTV Safety
Northeast Iowa Community College and the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS), a leader in safety training, offer courses focused on safe ATV/UTV riding to avoid hazards. Our interactive trainings will enhance participant understanding of the Dubuque County ATV/UTV ordinance and provide techniques for safe off- or on-road operation of ATVs and UTVs.
This safety training is important as many county and city governments are passing ordinances allowing on-road ATV/UTV operation. View the Dubuque County ATV/UTV Ordinance and attend a safety training to learn about what constitutes unlawful operation and operating restrictions involving different types of property or firearms.
ATV/UTV safety training will begin in March 2020. Register online at the links below or by calling 844.642.2338, ext. 1399.
