The Cresco Center offers year-round, day, evening, credit and professional development classes. The center also supports training opportunities for local businesses. Class instruction is offered face-to-face and via ICN.‌

The Cresco Center offers a variety of services to Cresco and the surrounding communities including:

  • Course registration (for all credit and non-credit classes), placement testing and intake advising for enrollment at NICC
  • Specialized business training and professional development classes
  • Career Pathway Certificate programs and Career Events
  • High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) testing preparation and brush-up courses on Mondays, 10:30 am -7 pm and Fridays, 8 am - 4 pm.
  • English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes
  • Adult Education and Literacy programs on Tuesdays, 3 pm - 5:15 pm and Thursdays, 1 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
  • Year-round Driver's Education courses
  • Programs designed for adult learners returning to college

The Cresco Center also hosts the Be Your Own Boss summer camp for children entering 5th and 6th grades. This week-long, STEM-based entrepreneurial camp runs the second week of June during the summer. Campers experience field trips, face-to-face meetings with business owners and will develop their business plans with the help of professionals.
