Professional Assessment

Located at the Dubuque Center, the Testing Center provides a wide range of assessment services for academic and professional purposes. The ACCUPLACER®, which is necessary for admission to Northeast Iowa Community College, and other academic tests, including the high school equivalency diploma (HSED, formerly GED) examinations, are offered at the center. The center also offers proctoring for tests administered from other institutions.

Assessments such as the National Career Readiness Certificates (NCRC) help employers and job seekers match skills to jobs. Additional professional testing opportunities are offered through the center’s association with testing providers such as Certiport, Pearson VUE and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

Testing hours vary. Please contact the Dubuque Center to schedule appointments.
