The Northeast Iowa Community College Child Development Center is licensed by the State of Iowa, through the Department of Human Services. The Child Development Center also participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) which assists in planning and serving nutritionally sound meals and snacks to children.
The NICC Child Development Center in Peosta is NAEYC Accredited. NAEYC Accreditation means the Center has voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study, inviting external professionals to review and verify compliance with the Criteria for High-Quality Early Childhood Programs and was found in substantial compliance with the criteria.
