The following are CDC isolation and masking guidelines. This can also be downloaded in a printable format.
Positive Test
Isolation Recommendations - I tested positive for COVID-19, now what?
Day 0 | Days 1-5 | Days 6-10 |

The day you tested positive. | Isolate at home, away from others. | If symptom free as of day 6, return to NICC and wear a mask. |
Close Contact
Defined as being within 6 feet or less of a person diagnosed with COVID-19 for 15 or more cumulative minutes over a 24 hour period.
Up-to-Date with Vaccines - I had a close contact exposure and NO SYMPTOMS, now what?

The day of exposure. | Wear a mask. Consider testing on day 5. |
Up-to-Date with Vaccines = a person has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster doses when eligible. If you test positive or develop symptoms, isolate from others and follow isolation recommendations (top of page).
Not Up-to-Date with Vaccines or Unvaccinated - I had a close contact exposure and NO SYMPTOMS, now what?

Not Up-to-Date with Vaccines / Unvaccinated = a person who has not received any or all of the recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster doses when eligible. If you test positive or develop symptoms, isolate from others and follow isolation recommendations (top of page).
Recently Diagnosed with COVID-19 - Within the last 90 days I’ve been diagnosed with and recovered from COVID-19 and have since had a close contact exposure and NO SYMPTOMS, now what?

Recently Diagnosed = a confirmed case (viral test) of COVID-19 within the last 90 days.
