Brain Health Summit

Join us for the Brain Health Summit to examine the cultural and social conditions that may contribute to stigma associated with anxiety and depression, and learn new strategies to help change stigma in our communities, workplaces and families. Renowned psychiatrist, educator and researcher, Dr. Michael Peroski, will share insights on the “biopsychosocial lens” associated with an individual’s anxiety or depression, and approaches useful in treatment. Integrated in our seminar are the NAMI Dubuque team, who will provide in-depth, firsthand insights on brain health and the need for a community-minded approach toward compassion and understanding.
