The 2017 summer semester at Northeast Iowa Community College offers three sessions to accommodate student needs:
- May 17 - August 11, 2017
- June 5 - July 7, 2017
- July 10 - August 11, 2017
If you are not seeking a degree from NICC and are not planning to receive financial aid for courses over summer, choose "Not seeking a degree“ as your program of study.
If you wish to receive financial aid for summer courses, you must meet the admission requirements prior to acceptance. Choose "Associate of Arts" as your program of study.
To register online, log into Xpress. Click Student Records > Registration > Express Registration. Enter registration number from the last column of the course offerings listed and click submit. You may also contact the Advising Office for registration assistance.
Students enrolling in an online or hybrid course must complete an online tutorial at the time of registration or no later than one week prior to the start of the course. To complete, log into Xpress and select Academics > Classes. In the term drop down box, select the TRN Online Tutorial.
If a student has enrolled in an online or hybrid course and the tutorial is not completed, the Registrar’s office will remove you from the course. Contact the Online and Blended Learning Office if you have questions. You may also access tutorial instructions online.
