Tri-State Emergency Responders Conference
Dates: October 21-22, 2022
Time: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day
Location: Grand River Center, Dubuque, IA
Welcome to the 12th annual Tri-State Emergency Responder conference. The planning team is excited to welcome attendees back face to face for another interactive, informative, and fun weekend with classes that will help firefighters and EMTs with any level of experience, rank, volunteer, or career. Some highlights this year make this conference unique and one not to miss.
Dan Flynn and Titus Tero, from New Orleans EMS and featured on the A&E's Documentary Series Nightwatch, will present great EMS continuing education and operational considerations as EMS providers. We are also grateful to Coral Spring Fire Chief Frank Babinec (retired) for returning to share his experience in creating the mental wellbeing program and how it was utilized following the mass casualty incident at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School. Eric Rosloff from the Career Survival Group will deliver an essential seminar on code of conduct issues that can develop in the workplace that cause employee disciplinary issues, terminations, or possibly even legal action in court. The exhibit hall will feature apparatus, fire and EMS equipment, and services, so you will want to make sure to check it out.
The conference center is conveniently located with the hotels and entertainment located within walking distance of the event center. We look forward to seeing you in October for another excellent conference.
