Students and Alumni
Access career tools on the left-side menu after creating your Career Hub account:
- Take an Assessment: Learn about your career interests, skills confidence, & values.
- Connect 2 Business: Search recently posted jobs, internships & area businesses.
- My Job Search Tools: Design a resume, cover letter and references.
- Make an appointment with Career Services Staff to discuss your career plans!
Create your Career Hub account:
- Visit the Student & Alumni Login.
- Select Create an Account.
- Select I am a college student.
- Use activation code J5787294YVC
Employers
As an employer you are able to create a business profile and post opportunities for qualified students and alumni to fill your open positions!
You will need to contact Career Services to establish a new account:
- Calmar: Julie Anderson: andersonju@nicc.edu or call 844.642.2338 ext. 1368
- Peosta: Chris Entringer: entringerc@nicc.edu or call 844.642.2338 ext. 2297
- You will be sent an email with a link to create your new account.
- Complete your business profile to post job openings.
- Also inform students about job shadows, internships, and apprenticeships.
- Once you have your profile set up, login via the Connect 2 Business Login.
Career Services reserves the right to limit, refuse, or revoke employer users’ access to its online job/internship posting system. Grounds for limiting, refusing, or revoking access may include, but are not limited to:
- Employer users representing third-party recruiting or staffing companies.
- Employer users representing direct sales companies or any other company which makes employment contingent upon any form of payment or financial investment from applicants.
- Employer users who are private members of the community and do not represent a specific company or organization may be allowed to post on our internal college portal job board.
- Employer users whose identities Career Center staff cannot verify with the stated employing company.
- Employer users who have been found by Career Center staff to have abused their access to the college’s job/internship posting system in any way.
- Employer users whose hiring practices or conduct have been found by Career Center staff to be questionable or inappropriate.
