“Definitely was the coldest weather we have all shot in! We had to do our best to adapt to what we were given,” said athlete Hailey Elsbernd.

Head Coach Anthony Sisneros is pleased with the growth he has seen in both individual athletes and team cohesion. “The cold temperature and wind gusts played a role in every team’s score, our student athletes fought through the conditions and were able to come away with a sixth place finish as a team. We competed against both four-year colleges and the other community colleges in our conference. It was exciting for both Coach Arnold and me to see everyone’s improvement over the last few months. Our team has gotten better not just as individuals but also a team. Our finish is a testament to all the hard work from everyone involved, from the athletes, coaches, volunteers, parents, and other NICC staff – thanks for an exciting season,” Sisneros said.
