Northeast Iowa Dairy Foundation
The Northeast Iowa Dairy Foundation is a nonprofit organization developed to address the need to retain young people in rural areas while bolstering the economic impact of dairy farms in northeast Iowa through education. The Foundation strives to educate NICC agriculture students, current dairy producers and dairy consumers. The foundation operates the one-of-a-kind Iowa's Dairy Center, which includes an educational facility and a full dairy farm. Learn more at the Iowa's Dairy Center website.
Chambers of Commerce
Northeast Iowa Community College and several chambers of commerce in northeast Iowa work together to promote business growth for new and existing businesses. Through these joint partnerships, a capacity is developed to be more market-responsive to the local employment needs of community businesses. Regional workforce skills can be identified and developed through collaborative training initiatives. The College partners with more than 15 chambers of commerce in Northeast Iowa, including:
