Student Refund Process

Northeast Iowa Community College partners with BankMobile Disbursements, a division of Customer's Bank to process student refunds. All student refunds, except credit/debit card payments, are processed through BankMobile Disbursements. Refunds on credit/debit card payments are processed back to the credit/debit card.

Types of Refunds

Student financial aid refunds are processed through BankMobile Disbursements along with refunds for schedule adjustments if paid by check or cash. Please note: refunds for student payments made by credit card will still be processed through the credit card that was used.

How to Get Started

Look for your personal code. There are multiple ways you can get a code:

Mail: Look for the green envelope. Your code will be sent to the address you have on file with the College.

Look for the bright green envelope banner.

Email: You will receive an email with your code.

On Demand: Visit and click on the Need A Code? link. You may use any personal code assigned to you to make your refund preference selection.

Once you have your code, follow these easy steps:

  1. Visit
  2. Enter your unique personal code
  3. Select how you'd like to receive your money

Students need to make sure the College has your current mailing address! If your address changed recently, please contact Student Services at 844.642.2338, ext. 1376 (Calmar) or ext. 2221 (Peosta) to update. Your current address is extremely important! Be sure to update your address with the US Postal Service as well to avoid delays.
