Late Start Classes
Late start courses, as well as Z-degree courses, are offered throughout the academic year. Late start courses typically start a couple of weeks after the beginning of each semester and are eight to ten weeks in length.
To enroll in late start courses, apply online and select the semester you intend to enroll. If you have applied within the last year, a new application is not required.
If you are not seeking a degree from NICC and are not planning to receive financial aid for the late start courses, choose "Not seeking a degree“ as your program of study. If you wish to receive financial aid for courses, choose "Associate of Arts" as your program of study.
Registration is available now for spring 2020 late start courses. For registration assistance, contact an Enrollment Advisor.
Once you have applied to the college you will have access to our online New Student Orientation within our online learning environment, Brightspace. There you have access to crucial information for you as a student and tips on how you can be successful. This tutorial is recommended for all students as many instructors use the Brightspace platform in their face-to-face courses.
