Registration Information
Northeast Iowa Community College provides students registration assistance and academic advising to help get you on the right track and meet your goals.
New Degree Seeking: If you plan to complete your degree/diploma at the College you must submit an application for admission and meet with your academic advisor prior to registering for classes.
Non Degree Seeking or Guest: If you plan to take courses for professional/personal development or to transfer to your four-year college submit an application for admission, you will then receive email communication that you can register for classes.
High School students who are currently enrolled in NICC college courses through their high school do not need to submit an application for admission. Learn more about earning college credit while in high school.

Virtual Instant Enrollment Day
Get accepted on the spot at one of our Virtual Instant Enrollment Day’s. Academic advisors will help you plan and register for classes over the phone or virtually through Zoom. You will need to have your academic transcript(s) from high school, GED/HSED or college. The Testing Center will be available to make arrangements to complete assessments at another time if necessary.
