Late Start Classes

Late start courses, as well as Z-degree courses, are offered throughout the academic year. Late start courses typically start a couple of weeks after the beginning of each semester and are eight to ten weeks in length.

To enroll in late start courses, apply online and select the semester you intend to enroll. If you have applied within the last year, a new application is not required.

If you are not seeking a degree from NICC and are not planning to receive financial aid for the late start courses, choose "Not seeking a degree“ as your program of study. If you wish to receive financial aid for courses, choose "Associate of Arts" as your program of study.

Registration Information

Registration dates vary for late start sessions. Prior to registering for classes students must apply and meet with their advisor.

Once you have applied to the College you will have access to the New Student Orientation within our online learning environment, Brightspace. There you have access to crucial information and tips on how to be successful.

Tuition Due Dates

Tuition for late start courses is due 1 week prior to the start of the semester.  If registering after the start of the semester, tuition is due at the time of registration.

Books
