Regional Academy for Math and Science (RAMS)

The Regional Academy for Math and Science (RAMS) in Oelwein offers credit, recertification and professional development courses in both face-to-face and ICN formats. The facility includes three traditional classrooms, two science labs, one fully-networked computer lab, one Project Lead the Way lab, an ICN room, office and conference space commons area.

The RAMS mission is to excite young people about opportunities in math, science, engineering and technology, to provide state of the art classrooms and to encourage high school students to enroll in classes where college credits can be earned.

The RAMS/Oelwein center offers a variety of services to Oelwein and surrounding communities including:

High-School Equivalency Diploma Courses

High-School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) classes are held for area residents wishing to earn their HSED. During the summer semester, these classes are held on Tuesdays from 2 - 8 p.m.
