AHA Instructors

The AHA training center faculty are responsible for quality assurance and is the educational leadership of the training center. Faculty serve as an expert resource on Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) issues and protocols to the training center, its instructors and its staff. They also conduct instructor courses for the center and monitor instructors' teaching abilities.

The Northeast Iowa Community College AHA training center has more than 400 aligned instructors in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). These instructors train nearly 11,000 students in our region.

If you are interested in transferring your alignment to NICC, please contact the training center coordinator at 844.642.2338, ext. 1399 or arensdorfp@nicc.edu
