Iowa Vocational-Technical Grant

The Iowa Vocational-Technical Tuition Grant is for Iowa residents enrolled in any eligible NICC Career & Technical Education (CTE) degree programs. 

2026-27 Eligibility Criteria - Released by Iowa College Aid on 6/18/2026

• The FAFSA must be submitted on or before July 1 for the upcoming school year (July 1, 2026 for 2026-27 school year)
• Award amounts are based on a student's FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI). SAI must be between 201 and 6800
• Iowa Resident
• Registered for a minimum of 3 credit hours each semester
• Meet all other federal and state aid eligibility criteria
• Enrolled in an eligible NICC CTE program; Certificate, Diploma or 2 year AAS degree - NICC Program Overview
• Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS) and all two-year transfer degrees are not eligible
