Iowa Kibbie Grant
The Kibbie Grant, also known as the Iowa Skilled Workforce Shortage Tuition Grant, is for Iowa residents enrolled in specified career or technical education programs at Iowa's Community Colleges.
2026-27 Eligibility Criteria - Released by Iowa College Aid on 6/18/2026
- The FAFSA must be submitted on or before July 1 for the upcoming school year (July 1, 2026 for 2026-27 school year)
- Student Aid Index (SAI) must be between (-)1500 and 6000
- Iowa resident
- Enrolled in an eligible program of study at NICC
- Registered for a minimum of 3 credit hours each semester
- Meet all other federal and state aid eligibility criteria
