Athletics

As members of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC), Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and National Junior College Athletic Association of Esports (NJCAAE), Northeast Iowa Community College currently participates in competitive Sports Shooting and Esports (established Fall 2022). These teams offer intercollegiate competition with opportunities for scholarships.

Sports Shooting

The Northeast Iowa Community College sports shooting team competes at shooting events across the state of Iowa through the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) & Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP). The team is open to both men and women and is coached by Anthony Sisneros.

Esports

Northeast Iowa Community College is launching two new intercollegiate Esports programs for fall 2022 at the Calmar and Peosta campuses. The College will be competing in the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE), along with over 145 community colleges. Esports programs will include men and women in video game competition with other institutions across the nation.
