English for Speakers of Other Languages

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs help those with limited English skills to improve listening, reading, speaking and writing for their daily life and work in the United States. Northeast Iowa Community Colleges offers English language classes year-round at several locations throughout northeast Iowa.

  • Multi-level ESOL and Spanish HSED Hybrid - Monday and Wednesday, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • English and Technology - Tuesday and Thursday, 9 - 10:30 a.m.

Dubuque Presentation Lantern Center: 902 Jackson St., LL 5-1

The Presentation Lantern Center offers tutoring/citizenship test help and is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 7 p.m.
